Our goal was to develop a cloud-based platform that could organize, streamline, and bring visibility to the design and development of trim items for retailers and their vendor community. As a full-service provider of tags and labels, Nexgen works with our customer to develop products that are both creative, so as to effectively represent their brands, and data-rich products so as to require accuracy and global consistency. Asset Management was designed to meet both requirements.
The design functionality and digital storage capabilities of our Asset Management solution ensure our customers maintain brand integrity across all types of branded ID trim items. Our creative and product design teams work closely with our customers to protect their brand investments in their trim portfolio and Asset Management provides brand consistency across a global supply chain.
Asset Management also provides our customers with a platform tailored for managing variable data products in their portfolio. Everything from PO data, SKU data, and technical print and product specifications are aggregated and tracked within Asset Management. We understand our customer’s IT resources are limited and that our data integration specialists must therefore provide the support and expertise needed to integrate all varieties of data streams within Asset Management.

We have recently announced integration with PLM providers such as PTC to automatically synchronize garment items with their trim portfolio. Other data sources such as testing reports and care label information are also aggregated within Asset Management to provide customers with one consolidated source of creative and technical information.
Used by more than 12,000 vendors globally, Order Management is the industry leading e-commerce platform for ordering tags and labels. A seamless integration to our Asset Management and In-plant printing applications enables our customers to leverage Order Management to ensure orders are placed accurately and that ordered products being comply with their design and product specifications.
Visibility of component supply chain activities is critical to a successful retail business. Working closely with our customers and vendor user base, Nexgen provides supply chain analytics that bring clarity and insights to a complex supply chain landscape. These analytics can be tailored to the strategic goals that are specific to each of our customers.
Order Management is an open application. In many cases, our customers are using the Nexgen Order Management application (and Asset Management) to manage all their trim and label suppliers. In these cases we work closely with other suppliers to ensure their products are integrated and that customer expectations are met across the entire portfolio of trim items. We know that our customers need to leverage the global community of suppliers for their entire component needs and we are committed to helping them meet this goal.
care label MANAGEMENT
Our Order Management system has excellent care label functionality embedded. The system’s auto-compose application provides the consistency of multi-language translations layout to our customer’s exact specifications. This eliminates the risk of error due to manual intervention on artwork. In addition, the system can generate layouts 24/7 without any limitations on working hours or time zones.
Nexgen’s care label database consists of translations in 30+ languages as verified by an industry leading third party translation service. Customers can either chose to use our translation glossary or send us their specific translations. Nexgen can build an individual library for a customer’s specific care label orders. Care labels are ordered on our custom website (available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Spanish) and then our system applies all the pre-determined translations needed and auto composes the multi-lingual label. Our recent integrations to both Intertek and Bueau Veritas allow us to validate the data provided against the actual test report — ensuring the most accurate care labels in the industry.
Our cloud-based solution for In-Plant Printing allows our customers to print with confidence across globally distributed print platforms. Leveraging all the features and functionality of Asset Management and Order Management, our In-Plant Printing application ensures your brand integrity by delivering consistent, high-quality output with “low-touch” support requirements. Our solution is printer independent and because it is cloud-based, all changes to fonts, layouts, etc., can be managed from a central location greatly reducing the need for expensive onsite visits.
With trained Nexgen staff providing routine visits for preventative maintenance, we can provide our customers with In-Plant Printing capabilities that can deliver on critical, quick-turn orders.
A critical element of our relationship with our customers and their vendors is integrating and aggregating data. The ability of our variable data products to execute for our customers depends on the timely and efficient integration of data from our customers’ ERP systems. We aggregate this data with other data streams to provide business analytics that give insights into supply chain activities. This allows our customers, their vendors, and Nexgen to constantly improve the production of tags/labels and other components in the retail supply chain.
