About the Role – Project Development Administrator – Mexico

Our Product Development department evaluates new product acquisitions required by brands to comply with execution and expectations for the Fashion and Apparel business. Analyzing materials, substrates, fixtures and presentation of the products, define the technology to be applied and produced.

A Product Development Project Administrator will interact with different teams while requiring services and products to achieve critical objectives, making the brands to display consistent and with strong quality at stores, having the Client’s success as a result.

 

Responsibilities

Our Product Development Project Administrator will be responsible of the following activities:

  • Review physical targets provided and gather the assessment information to report the potential solutions for materials, substrates, fixtures and technologies in an effective time manner.
  • Project management according to specific objectives per product.
  • Manage projects related to labels printed with different technologies such as offset, flexography, thermal, woven, silkscreen and more, considering different substrates to use.
  • Operational activities by reviewing produced prototypes or samples and carefully selecting the best quality, according to the standard or target provided.
  • Operational activities by mounting prototypes or samples on certain formats after internal approvals, submitted with a clean, reviewed and excellent presentation.
  • Operational/administrative ERP usage to set products up according to specifications.
  • Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams to achieve delivery dates and product expectations.
  • Reporting costs and expenses related from every project developed to Management.

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of pre-press and printing systems.
  • Technical experience on Graphic Arts, preferable.
  • Adobe Pro and Adobe Illustrator usage.
  • Printing machinery knowledge, preferable.
  • At least (3) years with project management.
  • Analytical thinking and detail oriented.
  • Problem solving under strict delivery timings and heavy workload.
  • Diplomatic, organized and clear communication.
  • Strong supplier management to maintain durable and healthy business relationships with key partners.
  • Advanced written/spoken English required.
  • ERP systems usage.
  • Strong commitment while engaging delivery dates.

 

Experience

  • Project management or product development experience with multiple technologies being applied in different projects simultaneously.
  • Punctual and appropriate follow up within members in the Company and outsourced services or products.
  • Strong time management to achieve deadlines positively.
  • Timing negotiations with suppliers to get effective deliveries.
  • Purchasing services or products to external suppliers, when required.
